My favorite part!
"It has never been, nor will it be, Monsanto policy to exercise its patent rights where trace amounts of our patented traits are present in farmers fields as a result of inadvertent means. We have no motivation to conduct business in this manner, nor have we ever attempted to conduct business in this manner -- and we surely would not prevail in the courts if we did."

Riiiiight, my question is how do they find out these farmers have Monsatan genes in their crops in the first place??? Do they get a warrant, use probably cause? Can you tell at a glance which is GMO soybeans and which is not? AND, if they didn't buy it and they didn't get it through contamination from a neighbor, where did it come from? Freaking GMO fairies?

Key phrase: "trace amounts".

Question: So what the h does that mean??

Answer: Whatever Monsanto says.

Legalese to the max.

Where does Monsanto get the right to go into farmer's fields to check their crops?? Around here, we call that trespassing.

The more I read here, the happier I get! I am so glad to find that there are people out there that are as outraged about GMO's as me and mine are. If you get a chance, check out The Future of Food. I know it was on Hulu before I got 'country internet" While its much the same info, it goes into detail as to how they alter the dna of plants. Horrifying ! Food , Inc. and The Future of Food have surpassed my zombie movies as my favorite horror movies.
