I'm really liking the meat prices from my freezer

Have spent the last hr or so looking for meat processors in my area. 🥴 Found 3 & all are 40-50 miles. That needed to be resolved before I jumped in and bought any darned piggies 🙄 weaners now would mean late fall butcher, or mid winter -- agh grow slower. Maybe a goat could make same trip. 2 offer kill&chill. One of them also a cut & you wrap. 👍

No Costco biz centers near me. Sob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom complains too. Most are in California. It's a bit reminiscent of how Costco was in the 80s. Back when you had to have a business or work for the government to get a membership.

She however still gets half a beef from great aunt. She's one of the few who does.

Me neither. Never been in one.

same here, but we do have a Sam's Club membership that gets used once or twice a month. with all the baking Mom does it is worth it for us.

it is about 30 miles from us but near the favorite Chinese food place we will visit if we go that ways so it works out ok to combine the trip and we also usually add in other other stops at the more general stores and a few other places that day so we get all our errands done in one shot.
