I'm rich beyond words! 😁 Plus a philanthropist!

So far the morning crew have given me 10 eggs. I've given away 4 dz in past few days. Who knew the lowly egg would promote me to such heights!?

We are getting a incubator. Two differnt sized trays for turkey and chicken eggs.

Move over you billionaires, got 5 more tonight.

I already have 2 bators. Might set a load this weekend, if laying holds. But I really prefer broody hens!!! They are far better moms than me 👍 about time for that to begin.
My I mean FB's turkey hens are horrible mommas, unless they hatch ducklings, then they are awesome mommas.

Mother's daddy raised turkeys in his Philadelphia back yard during the early 30's. He'd lost his job at Atlantic Richfield (ARCO) as an engineer for three years. Mother hated those turkeys. They were the dumbest things ever, and if I ask Mother (94.5 yrs now) about them, she will launch into how stupid they are.

Yrs back I raised 2 turkeys, both toms. Ate more than any animal I had, comparative to size. Butchered out over 25#each. I keep "thinking" I'd like a couple bourbon reds -- mainly to hatch poults to sell -- and I think they're handsome birds. Don't eat much turkey, so not wanting a bunch for that 🤷. Not a dark meat fan and they have huge thighs.

But seasonal layers & limited numbers, so not a good financial effort. None bought. 😁

You need turkeys, if for nothing else but to get a laugh every day.

FB has got the grinder set well to bake sandwich loafs. Didn't take her long to dial it in. It's sandwich bread from fresh ground whole wheat, hard white berries. What's not to like about it? Not a single thing that I can tell.
