Haha...I just found that information very interesting, considering that *most* cancers seem to be blamed on smoking but most have nothing to do with whether or not you smoke.
Our cleaning products are just as bad, and so are many other things we use and buy on a regular basis...but it all comes down to whether or not you smoke in todays society, which is sooo wrong.
Did you know that smokers are the only group left that can be discriminated against without penalty?

TOtally agree.

It has bothered me NO end for years.

I can believe what this chap says, after all I've learned about vaccines, and other dubious medical practices.
As well as the practice of Monstanto and the sunscreen industry.

All these people lie for one reason only - the mighty dollar.

I really do believe that smoking, on it's own, is one of the least problems for illness today. After all we've been smoking forever, but other things have changed drastically...and you are so right about the vaccinations! I read a long time ago that unvaccinated ppl don't get cancer!

I think a person's diet has more to do with cancer than smoking.

For so long I had to deal with the backlash of being a smoker, it was terrible - being looked down on and I even hid it from many people, I didn't want to go out or look for a new job or make new friends because I smoked.
It wasn't the smoking that kept me back, it was the un-fair antismoking brigade that turned everyone around.

I quit over a year ago, I use electronic cigs now to get my nicotine, its not the same, but it does the job, and I don't get looked at like a leper ...

Edit to add: when I went "home" to South Africa on vacation, it was SO different, smokers were just normal people, not evil or dirty or nasty, it was really a nice break from the BS here in USA.

I agree with all y'all. Seems the worst part of smoking is all the pesticides they use on the tobacco, and all the additives they use while processing it.

I agree that other cancers besides lung cancer are caused by diet vs smoking. There are warehouses full of evidence showing that the carcinogens that are in tobacco cause lung cancer and worse than that, they cause emphysema. Dying from emphysema would be worse than ling cancer. Spending years being unable to take a full breath till you finally can't take a breath would be one of the worse ways to go.

Second hand smoke may not be as harmful as they say it is. It is however disgusting to those that have to breathe it. It's funny because 20 years ago everyone smoked everywhere and even though it stunk real bad you got used to it. These days if someone is smoking in the car next to me it bothers me.
