Ahhhhhh, what a nice morning. It helps that we started our day with coffee in the hot tub
Most people I know just use plain ordinary water in their hot tub. :hide

Well, they're doing it wrong!...they should try coffee - it works so much better when absorbed through the skin - and the cream leaves you nice and soft! :plbb

I am a happy girl right now because I've got dirt under my fingernails! I've been planting - woo hoo! I put in some sugar snaps and some regular ol 'english' type peas. Crossing my fingers and hoping to be picking peas in March. I'm really trying to take advantage of this wonderful weather. I had to come inside and put on a short sleeve shirt and I'm considering capri pants....if it weren't so muddy the capri's would be a definite!

DH has been outside working too. He's had an injured hand/wrist for several months now and it's been tough! It's getting much better, finally. He's trimmed the Queen Palms and installed new latches on a couple of gates. Sure is nice to have some help!

I'm working on a plan to divide up some more pens... had to come inside and put pen to paper because for some reason I was having trouble 'seeing' how to work out the gate situation. It's just gonna take more posts than I wanted to use up, but if I'm gonna do it - I'm gonna do it right. It's so much better than re-doing later.

Back to it!

Add two more chicken pens to the "finished" list! These pens are 8 x 10 and will hopefully be double or even triple duty. They're big enough to put each of the mini's in when they need to be locked up for whatever reason. They will definitely hold chickens and/or goats - and if I want to plant in them - they'll keep the unwanted critters OUT!

Have I ever mentioned my tractor? I don't think I have, cuz it hasn't been running for a couple of years now. It's an OLD ford 8N... I think it's a 1949 model. My first husband converted it to a .... ummmm.... something or other where the battery doesn't run down all the time! Dang, I used to know that stuff.... Anyway, my DS is the one that usually keeps everything going for me. It needed the carburetor rebuilt and we bought the kit, he promised to do it, and it is still sitting in my drive way. Soooo, today I sent him a text and told him I was gonna either make a planter out of it, or sell it for scrap. My DS is one of those guys who gets all emotional over internal combustion engines and he promised to be out here next weekend to get 'baby' running again, lol. I promised to cook his favorite meal if he actually shows up!

And the best news of all - I'm OFFFFFF tomorrow! Have 2 more pens to finish but that's all I can think of right now. I'm sure something will come up to fill in all my 'spare' time!

I could be really mean and ask if you're not off most days, but I'll be good. Enjoy the time off, and I hope you get a lot done.

I know what you mean about having to threaten drastic action to get stuff done. I've done that in the past and have a few projects I'll be using it on this spring.

Deb, that wouldn't be mean, lol. I enjoy being OFFFFFFFFFFF! My best friend used to have a little sign hanging in her kitchen that said "of all the things I've lost - I miss my mind the most." That's my motto, lol! Who wants to be "normal" that's so boring, lol! There are waaaaay too many 'normal' people in this world - the interesting stuff happens whan a bunch of us 'unique' folks get together. Like... right here on this site! :hide Whoop
