Oy... So sorry. Good thing you know how to be frugal when you have to, in case he really can't work. Is he nearly retirement age?
Hope so for you! I thought all I needed to do was make sure there was an air pocket in the tank...so I drained it and opened the valve to let it suck in air - but it didn't change the pressure. But, I'm not sure I drained it all the way...it was after dark last night and I was kinda in a hurry - so I'm going to try it again. If that doesn't work then I'll call my son for more diagnostics - after that I'll have to call someone of a more professional nature. I did some googling and wonder if it's some kind of foot (?)valve down by the submersible pumpy thingy, lol.I'm having issues with water pressure too but DH has a spare pressure tank and he thinks that's the issue. Hope so!
submersible pumpy thingy
LOL - true dat! But if you sound all weepy and helpless when you call the water-well service company - they'll look it up in their records - because they've done the replacement twice! My first submersible pump lasted over 25 years....the last two about three years each.Let's hope that isn't the issue.....NO part # for it
