She has all of them. Lol just kidding FEM!
You know you're almost right, lol! Might try me some of those earless ones next. (or not)

What breeds of goats do you have?
About a hunnert years ago I started with pygmy goats. I raised them and showed them for over 10 years. Then I heard about a goat breed called Kinder which is a combination that consists of a Nubian/Pygmy cross. They are pretty good milkers and decent meat goats. That required me to come up with some Nubian does. So, that meant I had Pygmies, Nubians, and Kinders. After a while of fighting parasite issues with the Nubians I needed a tougher goat - so in stepped Conan - a Kiko buck. It's his kids that are being born right now. He's about a year old and even though he's really not shaping up physically the way I wanted - he's extremely parasite resistant. As long as he's passing on his parasite resistance I'm gonna give him a chance to keep on being a daddy.

And that is the condensed version of the story of my life with goats. :)

FEM, sounds like me when I had too many chickens years ago. I also forgot about some of them when DH asked me how many I have ;)

PIA needs to hurry on and deliver now :caf I thought I'd do a search of this thread and see where you mentioned her getting serviced, but the search results couldn't find her

Thanks Sumi! I had checked also....I checked my notes in my phone and my calendar on the wall. I definitely brain-farted and must have thought I'd remember, lol. Silly, silly me!

I'll be checking on her in a few minutes and hope she's made significant progress. I'm off today and Monday so I'm actually having coffee before I go out. Call me lazy - but I'm waiting on daylight.

I've got to do a major clean-out. I'll toss the used shavings and hay into t he new chicken pen. Hoping that will give me some good garden mulch in a few months.

Went outside to the garage last night to check on the chicks and found a bunch of them on the floor. Geeze Louise. I hadn't adjusted the openings to the feed/water troughs on the sides from the last batch. They were set for bigger chicks to reach out and eat/drink and needed to be closed down for these itty bitty critters. That's what I get for doing it all on the rush.

Our weather forecast has been revised somewhat. Our hard freeze has softened into only a light freeze. Still need that hard freeze for the bugs - but I'm a weather wuss and will definitely be ok with 31degrees instead of 26.

Got lots of stuff to do on my 4 days off. YaY!
