After waiting for what seems like forever(!) this might be “the day.” Good thing I stayed home from work today...cough, cough. Cameos udder has blown up and I can’t find ligs without digging a hole in her rear. So, perhaps within the next 24 hours (hopefully less) we might have some new babies!

Spending way too much time in the barn today. Really need to do housework while I have the extra hours to do it. But, very happy to report that Cameo has the tiniest little bit of slime on her girly parts! Things are progressing. However, she is stuffing her face with hay at the moment and not the least bit interested in birthing. LOL

GRRRRR - I haven't posted any news because I don't have any... She's been up and down all day pawing up her fresh clean bedding and doing nothing more than that. Her ligaments are gone gone, gone... her udder is gigantic...she's miserable...and nothing else is happening. This hoho is going to keep me up all night like PIA did the other day. I don't know what has changed, but my goats do NOT kid at night....haven't in years and now two in a row? GRRRRRR. I really don't want my "cough, cough" to last through tomorrow....:(

Finally! At 9:20 ish she had twins- one of each. Good sized kids- only got one pic of the boy:

He has spots! The girl looks gray - but I reserve the right to change my mind tomorrow. I gave each a good drink of colostrum and I’m gonna go to bed.

Yay babies! Cool spots too. It's always the boys that come out pretty.
