That is so sad about Colton. He sounded like a bright light on a cloudy day. What a comfort that he had people with him when he died.

Red is mostly back to being her normal bitchi self. Shes a little drawn and rough looking, but she's eating well and pushing everyone around so I think she'll be fine.
We're stuck in a rain/storm pattern that is going to be with us until the weekend. Serious road flooding all around us on Tuesday. Yesterday we got a break - but it's supposed to be back with a vengeance today. Hope they're wrong!

Watching the t-storm warnings, flood warnings and all the other warnings flash across the screen. Possible 2 - 10 inches of rain possible overnight. Thankfully, so far at least, it has stayed north of us. Hope it stays that way.

The big ol' storm got us. Power was out for a couple hours last night - made it that much easier to hear the hail pounding. That was fun.... not.
DH had a dental appt. today - and I had a doc appt. My good looking doc is not my fav anymore....I don't care how buff and cute you are - if you don't listen to me you're doing me no good. I'm gonna give his solution a shot - but if it doesn't work I'll be going back and giving him a little sermon that he won't like to hear, lol.
College was closed today because of the weather and we've canceled our field trip that was scheduled for tomorrow. Reset for next week.
Made some tomato basil soup. DH needed something soft. I'm about to have a glass of wine and try to mentally prepare myself for the funeral tomorrow.

Funeral was rough...it's hard to see someone pass so young. Watching his younger sister literally shredded my heart.
