The cost is crazy!

ETA....ok, WOWSER on $$$.

And that's why I'm trying to cut the numbers around here, lol. I spend a lot on worm medication as it is. And feeding wormy goats is like throwing money down the drain also.

I need to do a lot more research and fact finding. I'd love to find a seminar or webinar on the subject.

I don't think it would cost $1 a day for most of my goats. I have a lot that are under 100 lbs. Out of the 24 goats that I have, only maybe 8 of them are over 100lbs. The 4 nubian girls and the 4 boers.

Those preggers have cravings  fresh grass addicts. 38 of them here...about the size of your herd. We're nutso. All our resources goes to feed. I'm already thinking -- WHAT am I going to do when 60 kids get here??? That's a LOT of babes.

pasta and beans? :)

I slept until 8am! Only woke up once in the night to give DH a bolus since his blood sugar was high. Other than that it was a glorious night of sleep, lol!

Looked out the window this morning and saw the big guy after a doe that should already have been bred. Looks like she's cycling 5 days after a previous breeding. It's a thing with goats - the 5 day cycle. Generally they settle on that cycle - but who knows? It will be what it will be.

Need to get into the garden this morning and check things out. We've had 1.6 inches of rain that should make the plants happy!

My Texans lost a very messy game last night. :( We've got too many of our great players on the injured list and we just played on Sunday. Only 4 days of rest and beat up players didn't make for a great game.

Checked the raised beds this morning. Trying to wish the seeds to sprout, lol. Few collards have popped through but I sure hope that's not all that are going to make an appearance. I'll give it a couple more days, and if no more show up I'll have to stick a few more seeds in the ground. Ugh....
