Thank you every one :)

As for the wraps, spring rolls, pitas, etc.... HOW do you wrap/contain them? lol I used to send Hubby off with wraps, but they wont fit in a sandwich baggie (which I wash & reuse), plastic wrap is expensive, cant be reused, and is difficult to open while driving. If they aren't wrapped up, they will dry out (it is very dry here!) even in a little plastic Glad container.

Wax paper, and maybe then in a bigger plastic bag if it needs more protection from the drying elements.

If you cut them in half, both halves should fit into your sandwich baggies? (I think anyway, I don't buy them) My girls cut them in half and take them to school in sandwich containers, both halves fit nicely.

Just my 2 cents worth, but I had the same problem a couple years ago. Fried foods, breads were my weakness and over weight. I cut out the fried foods and breads and lost about 65 lbs all with a few months and numbers came back in line and have been ever since. Now the rest of the story I went hungry every day for at least 6 months untill my stomach shrunk and I've learned since then that portion control also plays a big factor if I eat to large portions and my weight creeps up my numbers go back up (go figure). I also want to say someone mentioned PBJ sandwiches PB is loaded with cholesterol, Emerald is absolutely correct all fake food is a killer when it comes to tri and cho. I have also found fresh meat (I eat deer, speedgoat and no processed meats) doesn't bother me as long as I watch the portion. I carry a lunch 98% of the time and I do a lot of soups and stews (homemade) in a thermos (makes it easy I just turn it up and drink) also eat oat meal and I drink 2% milk and it doesn't seam to bother me. Last but not least I'm still hungry sometimes but have learned if I don't stay skinny as a pole my numbers go back up and the brisk walking is a must if no access to a gym, most days if weather permits I do at least 2 miles (okay I'll get off the soap box).

It's the bad hydrogenated oils that they add to commercial peanut butter that aren't good for you--all natural peanut butter (nothing but the nuts) is great :)

Yep, bad oil in the peanut butters, breads, cakes, cookies, fake spreadable butters(real butter is NOT spreadable!) and even mayonnaise and salad dressings are loaded with the bad oils. I know, I'm allergic to soybeans, and soybean oil is the most commonly used in these products  I never realized until I figured out my food allergy and started watching. Just eat real food. :hu That stuff isn't real food! I make my own, and you can use healthier, better oils to make your mayo and such. And no doctor is going to tell me to not eat my eggs :old

Peanut butter contains no cholesterol, as it is a vegetable product. As stated, it can have other things - bad fats, trans fats, sugars - but pure peanut butter isn't bad for you.
