Leghorns are an egg laying breed, not meat bird. So, I don't know how much meat you'll get from them.

The price for the laying hens sounds really good. As long as their not old and grey.

I don't know much about chickens for meat... Yet. But a buck a bird seems cheap. I say fatten them up and send them to freezer camp.
