I know I have gained new ideas about many, many things after being on this forum....from gardening, raising animals, cooking, etc.

I feel that participating in this forum has enriched my SS life and I would really hate to lose this source of SS feedback and info.

Have any of you changed the way you do things? If so, could you tell us and could you also tell if it has been a good/bad change and why?

Well, this site and the folks on here have really inspired me to live more SS. My family and I strive continuously to reuse and recycle, as well as get ourselves to a more natural, back to the earth lifestyle. I am on here all the time looking for ideas and reading of others successes as well as losses. Yeah, I would really hate to lose this gathering place as well...ya'll are my good friends, even if I've never actually seen ya lol.

Yes, I am a completely different person than I was last year. I am the person I always dreamed of being, but I never thought I would be "this far" at this point in my life. I owe it all to the information obtained here on sufficientself.

I have met two good friends that live near me through this website too. They are very valuable friends with lots of experience and knowledge to share with me. I also value ALL of my cyber friends here too. :love

The only bad thing is I tend to linger here longer than I need to be. :p

Honey, if this thread was in any way from the managers of this forum, do you think it would originate with ME? :p  :gig

Nope...just so many new people this year, so much info, so much fun and just so much LIFE has been lived on these pages that I was wondering if you all were affected as much as I.

I love this forum so dearly and seem to be addicted to reading all the good information, sharing good people's lives and seeing all the fruits of your labors....just wondering if I was alone in being a sentimental fool about it all.... :love

This site is my direct source of: information, people, stories, etc. I love :love this site! I live in an urban/suburban area and the people who are really trying to embrace SS living, is far and few between. All my friends and my family (although a few are getting on board) think I've lost my mind when I talk about buying raw milk to make mozzerela cheese (which I totally overslept today and couldn't make it to our winters marker :somad )

This place gives me a sense of comfort and I feel like I'm with my peeps ;)

I swear I learn something new every day! :) Today I learned that the oldsters used charred wood or even coal to deworm pigs and other animals....who knew?

I might dump my next wood ashes in the sheep pen to see if they like to nibble on the charcoal therein....and to let the chickens dust themselves. They haven't gotten a chance to do that for so very long.... :(

Coming here is so much easier than reading tons of books that may have one or two good tidbits in them.....I still read many, many books and I usually share the things I find right here. So you all won't have to read the same books! :p

You can't buy this wisdom in a book. What book will tell you about pig hoohoo's? :D

Seriously, I get very inspired to try new things by reading about other's experiences and asking questions.

I feel accountable to people here, too, for some reason I can't describe. Accountable to follow through on projects and report what I've learned here, if only to give back what I can in thanks for all I've received.

:love
