I'm still waiting for my dinner. Hubby decided he wanted to make a rotisserie chicken, but didn't start it until after 6:00. :he

All I gotta say is........

HOW DID I MISS THIS THREAD?!

I am a total hatcaholic!

I just turned my incubator on yesterday. I'm using a LG forced air incubator. I set 16 Bantam Welsummer eggs, 1 Mille Fleur Cochin egg, and 9 Bantam Barred Buff Cochin eggs.

I have 2 boxes of eggs at the post office that we're going down to pick up. I'll add them today, too, and yes, technically, it will be a staggered hatch by a few hours but I'll put them all in lock down at the same time. 1 box is LF Lavender Ameracauna eggs, the other is Bantam Lavender Ameracauna eggs.

Coming next week I have possible chocolate project bantam Ameracauna eggs and, if I win the auction, more bantam Welsummer eggs.

I also plan to collect all eggs from my own Bantam Barred Buff Cochins and Mille Fleur Cochins over the next week for another hatch. I'll plug in a second 'bator for them. ;)

I also have 2 still air LG's that I use as my hatchers.

I also break all the rules of incubating and hatching eggs, but I usually have a good hatch.

I keep my humidity around 30-40% the first 18 days, and then I bump to at least 55% or higher. I like to get it up into the 60's, but the humidity also goes up as the chicks hatch.

We will not talk about how much I candle.

I am so excited to see how many chicks you get!

eta: I am technically on Day 1.
