My health care for whole family is 1250.00 a month. My share is 500.00 and my employer pays 750.00. That's about avg for a good policy with reasonable deductibles. Unfortunately you don't see it that much anymore.

Some day we will have single payer as a country. Health care cost and insurance is going through the roof and is getting to the point where people can't afford it. Unless they want a country full of sick people it will become a fact of life.

At least they have CHP available for most of the kids in the country.

My company did start charging 50.00 a month for smokers this year. They do give you a choice to join a supervised stop smoking program. I wouldn't be surprised to see obesity get a surcharge in the future. Those are the 2 top reasons for health problems. They charge more for high risk drivers. It sucks but I see it coming.
