Well I guess his style was irreverent at the least, when I think about it I'm not surprised he did not behave the rules of polite society.
All idols have feet of clay. At least he didn't write using expletives. His editors must have kept it out.
I have been surprised over the years how many things he dreamed up that came to pass. When I read the books computers were a thing scientists had, but now they truly do control homes and provide instant information just as he predicted with his character Minerva. He also predicted many things that happened that seemed far fetched at the time (like cloning!).
Minerva is the name of my Kindle, by the way (each Kindle has a name with Amazon). I don't expect it to become a person, but sometimes it is better company than some people I know!
