My daughter was telling me about it being winter in Japan now. I wasn't aware of that. I can't go there to help, but I can send a bit of $.

I always remember that even though we don't have much compared to some, we have a lot more compared to the rest.

How wonderful that there are still those helping in Haiti and in the USA - Katrina.

When Ivan hit there were electric companies and medical units from as far away as Quebec. I appreciated getting my power back on after over 4 weeks.... so whatever help I can offer I consider it paying back the Canadians who came to Florida to help me.

I also pass out boxes of citrus to our homeless camps around Thanksgiving, I foster horses, I give to my church (who runs 2 homes for women, houses Bethany Christian Services for adoption / family planning, etc) and I participate in our United Way, Toys for Tots and Meals on Wheels at my work. If my $20 will help even a little bit, the Japanese are welcome to it.

I knew you'd think of the name after awhile Marianne..:) Thanks for the link.
Al, just imagine if millions more gave just 5, 10, 20 bucks thats alot of money...! Theres no such thing as to small a donation, it all helps a little bit, to make a big difference..!
