:woot Just over 3 cups for the evening milking and only a slightly damp knee. She was much calmer on the stand but I did still need DH there to keep her from backing out. She would not eat her grain while on the stand. She did nibble my shoulder a little.

Honey, if she nibbled your shoulder, you're working on the wrong end.

On a serious note - they are adorable. I'm in :love
So that explains it!! No, seriously, I think this goat is part giraffe! The way the stand is set up I am sitting facing the milking end and she has her neck through the stanchion hole. She reached her neck all the way around and nibbled my shoulder!
5 am is coming early! Only two high school mornings. BUT DH is to work super early in the summer. If I continue to need his help I'm going to have to get up with him! Ick! I don't expect to be able to sleep in but I think it will mean getting up at 4:45. Ick! :ep
I've got lunches made. My fruit and goat's milk yogurt smoothie is already blended so I can take it with me if I'm running late. The milking kit is set up and ready to go. I'm hoping that getting up half an hour earlier will be enough time to feed and water goats in addition to all the regular morning chores and have time milk Miss Donki.
I do NOT want to go to work tomorrow.........

Those goats are SO beautiful! How lucky is your kid! Having those goats is going to be such a great experience for him. All of that and great FRESH milk too! :thumbsup
