We got our Vitamin D out in the sunshine today! We went to our favorite orchard for apples and pumpkins. We picked 22 lbs of mixed apples, and got 3 nice pumpkins. Road the hay wagon. It was a beautiful day!
Nope, not my place, don't I wish it was!! This is a house next to the apple orchard where we went to pick.
Meanwhile back at the ranch:

DH is at his parents' for the day doing odd jobs. We are puttering around here. I'm thinking a nice fire in the pit tonight..... love that our 3 day weekend is so gorgeous!!!

I love the pics, thanks so much for sharing them. It is a nice day here today also, been outside enjoying the weather. I was just thinking about an hour ago, I want to enjoy a fire this evening in the pit and just sit and visit. Great minds think alike!

Yup, today was everything right about autumn! We've got our firewood gathered, kindling too. We've already eaten dinner and we're ready to go as soon as I've milked Donki and it's a little darker.homesteadmomma said:

Thanks! Wish he'd shown his jack o'lantern smile! He lost another side tooth on the top yesterday. His top front teeth aren't quite all the way in. It's too funny. We had a moment discussing the tooth fairy when he admitted to knowing certain truths about her and other visitors in the night. It's a little bittersweet knowing Christmas has changed forever but he seems fine with it so I guess I'll have to be too. It was fun while it lasted!Javamama said:

Dorian has to shape up or he won't see the business end of any lady....just the business end of my boot! 
Te'a and Willow were both in heat today, Te'a finishing and Willow starting. So now I count 18 days and toss them in. He won't be a virgin for long!
