I live in those big ugly crocs! God bless the person who invented them. Help both my foot numbness AND the arthritis!

Buy lots of colors!

I have 6 pairs. Love love love them. I get told how ugly they are all the time. Don't care. I can now say they are PODIATRIST RECOMMENDED SO THERE :p They do have to be the brand name for the patented material they use. I have ones with no holes for this time of year. I've been in them almost everyday. I'm thinking I'm due for a new winter pair. Maybe the ones with the cordouroy trim. Fleece is probably too warm for work.

Glad to hear your on the mend. Christmas will be great. Even if you don't shop until Tuesday. I conquered the store on this past Monday. Dropped DD 4 yo with the MIL for a couple of hours of shopping. After tomorrow I will be home with all 3 most of the time and I refuse to go to the store toting all of them behind me.

I am sorry your son had a bad day with that mean sub lady. I hope the principal takes care of things for you.

Have a great day and enjoy wearing your Crocs!!!

I did wear them and my feet are sooo happy that I might even get some shopping done tonight! Wheeeeeee!
We may or may not have the BIG storm coming tomorrow night. I'm sure it will be nuts everywhere. It's one of those suck it up and just do it and do your darndest to enjoy if it kills you kind of shopping trips.
I wish it was the sub who hassled DS. It was a para who works in his room everyday so it's an ongoing issue. Usually his classroom teacher can head it off but she's been out. The para was overstepping her bounds to "help".
Thanks for the support. DH found out he doesn't have any legal recourse for what was printed in the paper about him, unless either one of us ends up with issues at work because of it. Thankfully his administration is behind him at this point and I haven't heard anything negative at work myself. I may share more over the weekend especially if snowed in.

From the local CBS station's website:

Winter Storm Albert To Wallop Connecticut
Snow Set To Begin Around 8 Saturday Evening

Gotta love the word "wallop"!
At least I've got the day to get stuff done. Then when we're stuck home on Sunday I can finish the house decorating and make some cookies!

Me too! Thanks. Just church in the morning and if it's bad we won't go. It's only a few miles but twisty and hilly. We're on a deadend street and they don't always plow us out too early on weekends. We shall see! We're supposed to "green" the church tomorrow for Christmas. I think the people who live within walking distance may be doing it on their own!
