Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

I had to laugh at Ohiofarmgirls statement about starting with a few chickens and ending up with 100. My DW who was luke warm about the whole chicken idea has informed me that my idea of putting the chickens in the freezer when they slow down laying in a few years was not going to fly(sorry bout the bad pun :p).

When I told her the coop isnt big enough for free loaders, she informed me that I'll have to build a retirement coop!:lol:

Yes, please share your adventures in aquaponics! I've got a green swimming pool I'm thinking of tossing some fish into this spring. No clue how to proceed yet.

You can always pass the freeloaders, excuse me, retirees off to someone who wants yard chickens.

You know, I think the forum has already set it's hook, mwahahaha. He did sign up, after all :D
