How long would you make it??

Let's just say I would be SCREWED!! I didn't read all the posts...too many. We are on city everything, so if it goes out, we are finished. Although we do have one corded phone. We do have some food storage, mostly cans, but once the electricty goes out, so does the stove and microwave. We do have a propane BBQ and some camp stoves, but not a huge supply of fuel for any of them. And all our meat is frozen in the freezer. Yeah, we would be TOAST! Can my family come to your house if there's trouble?

Hmm, we would be good for a little while. We made it easily through the huricanes in FL in 2004, when we didn't have the SS mindset. I think we could go about a month, maybe a little more, provided we still have water.
