Glad he got everything fixed! That's one good thing about my hubby, he can fix almost anything.

That's a skill that is priceless to me and one of the qualities that I just adore about the bf!
I've been sorta busy and a little down this week. JS left Monday midday, we'll, I dropped her off, and ice been trying to catch up on the laundry since then among other things. I have to go get KN from the airport this afternoon so that will be nice.
I had my animal communication class phone call again on Wednesday which I was excited about because the gal that developed the program was actually teaching. However I couldn't get the phone system to log me in and so one of the other assistants had to help and when I finally did get logged in we were in the middle of the mediation already and someone had not muted their phone line so there was a while lot of noise on the line. I dislike the group phone call format anyway because it's always difficult to talk with the slight delay on the line. Then everyone ends up talking at once and then nobody talks because they fear they're interrupting. So to try to meditate on the call while someone is being noisy makes it all that much more difficult. I wear my blue tooth ear buds for the call to be able to understand the vocals better but it makes the background noise really loud.
I did start work on a picture for my riding instructor as a gift. We are pulling everybody together to pool finds to get it framed, it's 19x24 so it's not little. I'm working on it in oil pastels, and is coming along nicely, except for the horse's mouth is wrong right now and I have to fix it. The photo is one I took years ago while down at her place rising. It's of her riding one of her best horses that she just had to put down recently, so I know it will mean a lot to her. Now I just have to get it finished asap so that there is time to frame it and get it done before she returns in November for the last time this year. We'll probably still ship it to her, since I don't think the plane will appreciate her bringing it on board....
Other than that I'm cleaning and putzing along trying not to stay too depressed.

I would not be able to do a call like that. I have trouble following a conversation in person if there's noise around, I can just imagine how bad it would be like that.

Ugh, group phone calls with someone putting their call on hold - on a system where there is "hold music" is almost as bad as the white noise.

Once though, with a big and long application installation in the middle of the night, one of the other project managers fell asleep and started snoring on the line. Someone recorded it on their cellphone. :D

Lol Jamie that's hilarious!
Yes, Deb, it's difficult to follow and very distracting when you add background noise on top of conversation. I hope I can settle in and get more used to it soon because I don't want to have a frustrated approach to class.
We had a busy weekend but didn't get as much don't as I wanted. What else is new? The bf is dragging his feet on getting our hay feeder done so I think I'm going to have to give him a nudge next weekend. It's got to get done because the horses really don't have enough to eat right now.
We worked on a friend's fence yesterday and the bf almost bit of more than he could chew. It turned out to be much more challenging than he expected. We were there basically all day and into the dark when we couldn't work anymore. I'm heading back over later and he's going to meet me there so we can hopefully get it finished. He only had to run 3 more stands of wire and get it tightened down. The tough part is making sure that it tightens ok and the fence holds. Then it needs to be electrified. I'm so sore from working on it yesterday but hopefully it won't be as bad tonight.
I did have a great lesson on Saturday morning. The only bad news is that I need a new bridle and bit. We've finally gotten to the point where the bit that I have is Interfering with the work we are doing. It has a pet in the middle and that seems to be causing him to shorten his neck more to evade the contact with the bit, which is creating tension, which means that he is still edgy. I'm a little relieved to know that it is a physical issue and not just me that's causing the problems. Now I cam work on fixing it so that he's now comfortable and able to do what I'm asking and really relax.
I'm trying to get things done today but I feel like crap. Yay pms. Not. I need to work on the picture for my instructor more so I can take that to the framers later this week. I need to get the kitchen cleaned so I cam make spaghetti for dinner and I need to clean out the fridge.
Too much to do!

I think part of the problems I'm having w/Misty is the bridle as well. I have another one, that if it fits, I'll try for now.

My trainer doesn't put as much emphasis on track as many do. She recognizes that is about the technique, not the tool. However sometimes you get to a point and something has to change. A friend is checking to see if she had a bit large enough for me, she said she'd just give it to me which is so sweet. Then I'll just have to find a bridle big enough for him.
Yesterday I got a fair amount done despite feeling crappy. The bed got changed and the mattress rotated and then remade with the heated mays pad on it for winter. I cleaned up the accumulation of dishes and got the dish washer loaded. I worked for a little while on the art and then walked the dogs. All of that was after I took the auger back in the morning by 9. And I left to head to MLs to finish the fence by 2:45.
I got to her house just as she got home so it was perfect timing. I began to clean up more of the old fence and we cleared brush out of the way to make it easier to get the fence up. The bf was running later than he wanted but we were ready to go when he got there. The sun was already behind the hill when we started, but it went very quickly. I walked wroth the bf caring extra things as I went and then I waited at the end of the line when we were ready to tighten to make sure nothing snapped. By this time it was dark and I had to hike back up the fence line in the dark with my flash light checking it as I went. It looked really good! We closed up a gap that opened up and then checked the wire down to the box. It needed one more insulator, so the bf took the flashlight and put that in then we plugged it in and he treated it. I heard him giggle from the bottom of the hill. When he came back in he showed us the pet at the box. The fence males ALL the lights on the tester light up now. He said that it looked like a Christmas tree in the dark at the top of the hill.
We headed home and fixed spaghetti for dinner despite it being so late.
Today is a little on the crazy side. I have so many things I want to get done and I don't know if I'm going to get them all done. I need to
Feed the horses
Go to the mva to get my new stickers for the truck
Work the horse (?)
Clean the run in shed
Move the hay feeder and get it cleaned
Flood the sheets
Wash and hang the summer matress pad

Yeah.... we'll see how far I can get...
