to a group of 150-200 people, about nourishing whole foods.

:th

My first response was NO WAY!! surely I don't know anything. There is going to be a doctor talking there and everything.

My hubby assures me I can do this. The guy who asked me works with my hubby. Samir, the guy hubby works with, and his wife were enthralled with me and peppered me with questions all during our work Christmas party. they are totally into the whole pastured eggs, bake your bread from scratch, make your own food from wholesome ingredients/sourdough etc. Only problem is they are Hindu, and about 70% of the people in the group are vegetarians. I don't promote vegetarian diets, but Samir says not to worry about it.

Help me out guys, what all could I talk about for 5 minutes, where the main focus is not meat. I have to give him an answer by the end of the week.

You could talk about the need for good fats in the diet, and talk about pastured eggs and dairy. Most vegetarians will eat those. Not strict Hindus, though, but many aren't strict.

No, Sammy and his family will eat eggs and dairy. They asked me at the Christmas partyif we ever considered being vegetarian, and I told them why we eat meat.

I could also talk about why it is better to make your own bread etc compared to the junk you buy at the store etc, about kefir and kombucha, raw milk etc. they absolutely loved the fact that I got a cow.

:woot I've been having a similar conversation with a group of coworkers that fit your target audience description. Last year, I convinced 3 of them to start gardens and 3 others ask for my garden "overflow". :)

One thing I learned early on in being a manager is to understand where they come from the caste system. The guys I work work with typically come from the upper middle class and never really did manual labor, they were shocked a "manager" had chickens and a garden at home. Most of the guys I talk to eat eggs, but not meat.

let me think on it, if you get stuck.

Feel free to use my attention getter.

Ask what is the most dreaded job when cleaning the kitchen. State that cleaning the oven is not the answer.

Its the hood/vent and the burners.
That gooy hard stuff is exactly what is clogging up peoples arteries. Nasty old vege oils.

If real lard, butter and raw coconut oils are used to cook with, the only items that iwll be needed to clean the hood, are a wet cloth and a bit of soap. Wipe clean and done in a matter of minutes.
No nasty chemicals and large chunks of time.

Besides the lack of Real D in the diet, the oils are also contributing to sunburn and damage.

We were just talking about Vitamin D sources (and the lack of them) today at lunch. hmmmm.

I do not burn anymore, and I used to be a lobster after 1/2 and hour.
Fermented clo and eliminating all the bad oils did the trick.
