No, just boiled until a bit soft and sliced. It tasted like a combination of sweet corn and potatoes. :p

I was raised by parents who grew up in the Depression, so for me it would be an onion sammich with the tomato on the side, sliced.

LOL, Purple Chicken had a whole thread on this subject over on BYC. You are NOT alone! But I happen to love it. Mmmmm, cold meatloaf with mayo-heaven! Sorry, back to tomatoes and onions.... :p

can i add fried bologna, thick slice, i know it aint from the garden but it sure is good on a mater sammich with very cold sweet tea to chase with, now im gonna have to eat lunch again. :drool

Nope, I don't like it either. I just didn't have the guts to say so.

I prefer bologna (fried, especially), onion and tomato. Mmmm, Mmmm!
