Yeah, you think my spelling is bad, you should hear me try to talk! Born and raised an Ozark Hillbilly then joined the army and went around the world so now my mouth can't decide WHAT accent to use!

Most say I sound like a cross between Porky Pig and Huckleberry Hound!

ETA: Wrong cartoon character!

BTW, my DS doesn't eat ketchup because he says it is too spicy! Talk about a wimp!
Any allergies to an ingredient in it?
Nah, I think he is just a wuss!

He eats tomatoes like they are going out of style, HFCS is in everything and doesn't bother him, doesn't mind vinegar etc. He just has a LOW spice tolerance. Won't even touch mild salsa, mustard, etc.

This is the same kid who used to help me eat my plate of spicy kung po chicken when he was younger!

If you freeze fish oil pills they digest a little further down the digestive tract and you can avoid "seal burps".

nav, I don't see you listing veggies in what you are eating daily. You need those nutrients and fiber. Get crackin'! :D
HEY! I losted sweet potatoes! :gig

I had no other veggies at the time as we had just had a big salad for dinner and I let my DD make it. She gets carried away! :D

I did add lots of frozen (then thawed ) sauted whole greenbeans with todays fare and it was WONDERFUL! :drool

I will strive to find time to roast some peppers and carrots this weekend to make next weeks batch.

Thanks for keeping me honest!
Why no sweet potatoes?
They are a real food, and do not cause a train wreck in the blood sugar department.
No problem with sweet potatoes, just count them in the carb department and not the veggie dept if eating by what I posted earlier....4 carb servings per day for men and two for women wanting to lose weight. 12 servings of veggies per day should supply the rest of your carb needs. A serving of cooked veggies is half a cup, so it really doesn't take that much work to get in 12 if you eat them 3x per day. This will kick start weight loss and stabilize blood sugar VERY quickly.

SEAL BURPS? I LOVE IT!!!

Well, the healthfood stored didn't have any gel caps (empty or with the oil) so I am just "manning up" and drinking it.

YUMMMMMM.... NOT!

 "seal burps"

For some reason Sam and I don't get the burps with fclo. We used to take it regularly before the hospital trauma. (Thanks Navajo, she is much better now.)

I only burp on it if I lie down. :hu

If I'm up and about no issue.

Also, if you take pills, there is nothing to signal the body to produce what is needed to digest it in time. So eat some saturated fat (animal sources are best for this, eggs, butter, cheese, whole milk, meats that aren't lean, etc.) with it to get the body ready for that capsule to break open.

WHAT? Sweet potatoes are not veggies?!? OH THE HUMANITY! :gig

OK, so will rely more heavily on the greenbeans, peppers and (a few) carrots and see what's what.

I still have a lot of studying to do about the good way of eating!
