As long as it is not Father's Day weekend it is a very good possibility that my family can come!

It is Father's Day weekend. Didn't even think of that when we were looking for a Saturday.

I saw this and I know it's Mother Earth News, but my first thought was "Oh, a Men Mag, great a bunch of hippies lookin' at playgirl."

It's a 10 hour drive for me but you better make it a 3 day weekend because if I bring my world famous Kentucky moonshine the hangovers will be legendary, you will get a DWI two days after you stop drinking it.

So why is on Fathers Day weekend? Your only a hop skip and a jump from me, but wouldn't be able to make it on FD weekend.

Yes, we are thinking of changing the date, but we're not sure which Saturday yet, so input from ya'll would be good.

We didn't realize it was Father's Day when we chose that Saturday.

The Saturday after is the weekend before the July 4th weekend.

We're also thinking about changing the location to a public park. There were several reasons behind this idea, one being a park will allow a play area for kids.

We're still hammering out details.

QA and I were talking last night and cooking up ideas. She is checking into a camping spot that would be virtually free and right up the SS alley. We are also knocking around ideas for a couple SS classes that could be held.

So, this may turn into an overnighter--start Friday evening and go through Saturday afternoon.

Finding the perfect date is hard. June 19-20 is out for Father's Day. July 3-4 is out for Independence Day. Most any other weekend could work. How about suggestions and a vote?
