yep when the going gets tough, the cabin-fever-antsy-in-the-pantys get drinkin
and can you believe they ALREADY have the storm warning for tomorrow? they posted ours YESTERDAY. dang. 4 - 8 more inches for us.
at least i'm feeling better. we had sunshine today so i drove the big truck into town and i actually saw.... OTHER PEOPLE. its true. they are out there.
hadnt thought of using the brooder lights to create a festive mood... hum.....
I know exactly how you feel! I got lucky, and two days into my cabin fever the roads were clear and I packed up the kids and got the heck out of dodge!
I was sick to death of the projects I have to occupy myself. The crochet wasn't panning out with my carpel tunnel flairing up, the sewing machine looked daunting and more than I could handle in my iritated state, and if I even LOOKED at a loaf of bread I would have squished it flat. I ended up pacing the house back to front and side to side.
Really, tho, it's more than just being snowed in. I got to go out yesterday with Becca and her mom, and we had fun, yes, and I came home to more chickens hatching...
I want something to change. I know farming and trying to be SS is a great way to live, but I don't think I am wanting to do it on 7+ acres anymore.
Or in a trailer.
Or without running water.
I'm ready for 3 or less acres....a house...and water.
So, there, now ya'll have it. I know what I have is good, but I want something other than what I have.
