O, how we love to complain about the weather. On Tuesday we had the start of 50 mph winds for 48 straight hours. O I wish my wind turbine had been up...Then with the wind we got 3 inches of the heavy wet snow that night and it froze (28F) that night. It just hasn't been a fun week. Winter came on like the switch was thrown and off it went.
If anyone would like some snow, you may have all of mine. It melts a little during the day and causes mud everywhere, then everything freezes at night. Frozen slush is not good for tractor tires. It cuts like glass.
Hopefully, this is just a warning and I'll be able to get everything else "winter ready" by the end of Sunday...snow fence, windows sealed, doors sealed, yard picked up...etc.
I don't mind the winter but it permeates everything and makes it tough to do anything. Here on the high prairie the winters are the most severe I have ever experienced...boo hoo
Too cold too quick for me.
