Oh, and..was that corn starch and milk you added there towards the end...to thicken it?
LOL... I know... I can't even be your chef, I'd be out in your pens in the wee hours of the morning picking over your rescued animals.. Seeing which one would suit the meal, and harvest it... LOL...

It was, with a little bit of browned flour..... and another secret thingie ma bob to boot.

But in general, it was corn starch and milk....

Well... I am not going to touch that, or should I say "those" with these hands :barnie What?

Well, to be honest, when I build something, I build it well. Its not an attitude, it's a process of making things and making them last.

People say, "proof is in the pudding", I say it is how well it is built, and how will it last if I build it this way or that way?

Look and judge yourself...

Right... I am out in the sunshine today cleaning up after winter. Snow plow blade is off, sawed up the tree that hit the house and coop, split that up yesterday. Todays list is just some general clean up, and pick after winter/fall debris all over... Oh I gotta post some flower pics too...

Great service/message this morning...

great pics :D You got a head start on next winters firewood, but it will be seasoned by then. Hope the chickens aren't scared to be indoors now.

 @ DL you are too funny..... Oh yes about the fire wood, that cherry burns pretty good to, though I am having a fellow over to look at buying it tomorrow. One section, at the narrowest is 27 inches, and is 33 almost 34 at the bottom. A fairly straight piece, Paul Sr. was down today and said I should ask at least 450-500.00 for it at current prices. I say that will be a great add to my SS funds, and will go towards that deer fencing project that needs to get done.

I am keeping the branches as small as 2 inches for fire wood, I am sure I have at least on rick from those.

I might not have mentioned this last year, some of the past 11 months I kinda lived in the fog, but I am back on track now, more than ever a well.

Anyway, Steve was evicted last year, and he knew he had to go, so he sold me 4 cut un-split for $50, yeah, $50... Its hard wood maple, the twisted stuff, it burns ok, but for that price, I couldn't pass it up.

Cooked, canned deer meat that made earlier this week for the video. As always it was great, the pepper I added wasn't hot, but packed a nice pablano chili pepper taste.... I had grown two of these plants last year and put up quite a bit. Glad I have those now and will be putting them to use in other dishes. I think I would like to make a nice chili garlic sauce with them because they taste so good.

Jay.....do you have a smoker? Or even a grill you can smoke on?
If ya do, save the smaller stuff from that cherry tree for the smoker.
You'll thank me for it later. ;)
