Spending the Maundy Thursday with Jesus and his 12 disciples during this passover.

The Passion For Christ is a powerful movie, but more so what he gave to all of us.

KC- We could make a great supper with all of our good eats, DL is already tucking in her bib!!

LOVE YOUR MOTHER!!!!! EARTH DAY 2011 TOMORROW!! :celebrate :celebrate :celebrate :thumbsup :thumbsup

I will give you a pint of maple syrup that I help make for the before and after pics of a clean up project that you will do tomorrow. I will put it to vote on the internet.

Well, I'd love a pint of that wonderful syrup, but I'm afraid my Earth Day will be spent in the hospital with my Mom.

On Wednesday my 87 year old Mother drove her car down the driveway to pick up her mail. When she got back to the house one of her outside cats ran up to the car and she accidentally shut the cat's tail in the car door. The cat, in pain lashed out at the first ting he could and tore up my Mom's leg. She fell and managed to pull herself up and get into the house. She lost copious amounts of blood before the ambulance got there (she takes blood thinner). After hours in the ER they sent her home with pain meds and antibiotics. I stayed with her Wed. night and by mid morning Thurs. she was chilling, feverish, and the area above the wounds were red and swollen. She couldn't walk and is too heavy for me to lift her, so I called the ambulance again. She's now in intensive care, a surgeon and infection specialist will be looking at her this morning in an effort to save her leg.

The cat is supposed to be quarantined to be sure it doesn't have rabies and our sorry excuse for animal control won't come get it unless we have it confined. I can't catch these cats myself so I just decided to keep an eye on it.

Can you feel my anger? Because some fool decided not to be responsible for an animal in it's care and dumped it and an incompetent ER Dr. decided to send my Mother home instead of giving her the care she needed, she may lose her leg.

Sorry to rain on your Earth Day MP, but my heart's just not in it right now.

Wow! You've been a busy man.... Jams and Jellies sound good.

Raspberries are bringing $8 per pint (yes, I said pint) at our market now. Now I know everyone works hard for their money at the market, but somehow that seems high. We get $6 per quart for our blackberries, but then they're thornless and those raspberries are little monsters that shred your arms - maybe they're worth that money after all.

Hey J.

Good to see you. I figured you must be keeping busy. By the look of that list I now see why.

Sounds like the SS kitty is getting fat.

If you have time post us some garden pics. Oh, and one of the new coop too.
