Wow J. Sounds like you are humming right along there!! Since our garden went in late, I am not tired of harvest as of yet. We are just getting started. :p I am hoping the weather holds out so we get enough for the winter. Heard the first locust this evening....6 weeks until the first frost? October 15th. WAY too early for me!

Tomatoes. I'm sick to death of picking them. Funny enough I picked almost every single last tomato from my bushes almost a week ago - green or not - but left 4 plants. I still have them on the 4 out there. For a month, it was great going out in the morning and evening to pick them, but I'm tired of it now. LOL

I have some string beans that are ready and I'll hopefully get to them in the next couple of days. I also have some butter beans that I'm not quite sure are gonna make any thing this year. I'm loaded - absolutely LOADED with teeny little butter beans, but they don't seem to be doin' much but taunting me :lol:

Good to see you around.

Send my love to your family.

I will take some Okra!!! I don't grow it because I found only three uses for it. Let me dehydrate it and perhaps we can grind it up into powder it expand its uses!
1. Fried
2. In soups
3. It just grows so well and if I everything else fails, I always have Okra, the wonder food.

Hi Deb and Nikki {{{hugs}}}

Deb it is six weeks until frost if the Locust make a dotted sound, and follow up with a long call. Not from the first call, but still a a warning call...

Nikki Need a great sauce recipe for your maters? I will take those to, I love free stuff!!

Tired of... Hmm, I had squat in my garden this year, so I can't even claim I'm sick of zucchini, which is like a miracle around here. I think I got a total of 8 zucchini from 3 hills. Tomatoes are plugging along, but had to go to a pick your own to get any to do stuff with. Wish I was sick of something.

Oh wait, I am, my husband planted spaghetti squash. I hate spaghetti squash. ICK. :sick

I'll take some of that squash, mine kicked the bucket early. Want some spuds?

I'm getting kind of sick of potatoes. We had so many volunteer plants besides the ones that I planted. I have no cool area to store them, so everything has to get processed one way or the other. On the upside, because I had so much mulch, all the volunteers came up at different times, so not everything is ready at the same time.

Tomatoes are just about right, I don't have too many at any time. Salsa again today, more spaghetti sauce on the next ones.

As tired as we get this time of year, it sure tastes good in the dead of winter, huh.
