...but am I famous in a small town?

Go flipping figure - the one nice day we get and we had to be gone at a birthday party all day. It was nice to see the family, but I could have been doing stuff.

:barnie Not one response on the goats yet. Unless you count spam.

If you want to...I am hoping the nicer weather will get people looking too.

The good goat news is - I've been spending more time with them and even the very shy, standoffish one is coming around for chin scratches. I thought she was going to be too wild to be a nice future milker. But maybe not :)

Surprise, it's storming again :/

2 of the doelings went to a new home yesterday. One of them was a little pest none of us could stand. I'm so glad she's gone. She was always trying to climb me, bite me, or hit me in the back of the knees as I walked. She's going to a big herd where she will learn manners. The goat yard is very peaceful now.
It was so hot yesterday - 84 degrees - all the animals were panting because they aren't used to it. The goats decided it was too hot to let the kids nurse in the afternoon, so I got a whole 1.5 cups of milk. :D Y'all can stop laughing right now, that's alot of milk for does who still had five 30 pound kids tapping them. :smack
If the rest of the kids don't sell this week we will build a stall to put them in.

I milked again this morning and got another 1.5 cups, so it's getting better. I don't know what I'll do with 3 whole cups of milk a day :p I guess I better get some cheese supplies ordered.
