Wow! My babies are so sweet.....I guess I'll count my blessings.

I know what you mean about catching goats and getting them to go into the right places though. :he Ginger is good but your story sounds like me dealing with Donald sometimes or especially Molly. It is like they know where you want them to go and go the opposite, until you give up then they go where you wanted them to without any struggle. :somad

OFGs trick of only giving the good stuff on the stand has helped me with that, but you are already doing that, right? I sometimes use the empty bucket to trick them to go where I want them to (they always fall for it!) hee hee

do you want me to send Kai over? she thinks the goats look delicious...i'm sure she'd help you out and it would solve your 'goats running for the gate' problem! ha!

but when there are too many shenanigans you should see the wild eyed looks i get from them bad goats when i turn around and yell:

"TITAN! get down here and round up them stupid goats!"

in the movies they would focus on his slow, powerful footsteps as he came down the deck stairs....

the best was when Nibbles was little and she and her sister ran for it... so i called the dogs to bring them back... but the dog was closing in fast, mouth open, and so i signaled to him "NO DONT USE YOUR MOUTH"

and so he head butted the little goaties.

i love that dog.

hey! i just typed this to someone...

Goats = crazy
hey SD! have you seen my blog today? i mentioned you
;-)

Darn - guess I'll just have to put up with it for another month. My arm is hurting more from trying not to get dragged around than it is from milking 2 nearly empty udders :p I may have to double up Perdy's clasp thingy so she can't get loose when I tie her. I'm going to be very strong by the time the kids are gone :D
I know it will be better once the 2 really jumpy spazz kids are gone. Our keeper doeling is a nice quiet soul and I look forward to it being just her and the mamas. I don't do chaos very well.

OFG, I would love to borrow Kai. My dog is next to useless. She's usually running around looking at the sky or some sort of ridiculousness.

Maybe I could drop a small dish of grain at the back side of the run and distract them...

Dang I have EIGHT dogs here, none of them mental slouches, and have spent most of my life with dogs, and not a one would go out and round up Molly or Donald for me....gently, that is.

Of COURSE you are a dog person, you just haven't come out of the closet. Or perhaps out of the dog house in this case.

Congrats on the Blog award! I only have one blog bookmarked on MY computer.....I need my regular dose of funnies!

Speaking of funny, have you guys seen that blurb about the Iphone autocorrect? I almost wet my pants yesterday reading it. I wanted to post a link here but it isn't all family friendly or politically correct. But I literally cried laughing yesterday about it. If anyone needs a good laugh lemme know and I'll send the link.

*Right field, it's easy, you know.
You can be awkward and you can be slow
That's why I'm here in right field
Just watching the dandelions grow*

She's a great dog if you want to be defended from large birds and butterflies. She keeps people away too. She's just sure those goats are puppies and is ever hopeful that that they will invite her in to play :D

I wanna see that link SD! Sounds good...

Okay but I'll put the link on my own thread since OFG has not approved it, but I bet she will laugh!
