Thanks for the well wishes everyone! We missed it this time..whew! Had a cold rain all dayu, so no outside walking after dinner. Step dad did show up for dinner...( I think thats why we had tornado warnings) :p Son and his family came as well. It started with the 2 of them bickering and fussing. So, I just stated in my " Im the mom" voice...there will be NO fighting here today, BOTH of you get over it..we WILL have a NICE Thanksgiving!!!! :rant My DIL ran to the bathroom crying....a few minutes later my son went in and they talked it out. Whew! They came out about 10 minutes later, and all was well. We had a wonderfull dinner...talking, laughing...eating, and eating. I packed a few dishes for them all to take home, did the dishes while everyone slept, :somad, and got all the food put away. Just as I finished, everyone decided to wake up, and " had to go" :tongue Fine! So I got my coffee, and headed to the family room for some TV time...when BIL texted and said they were on thier way....for dinner! Back up the stairs...get the table set for them, and got the food back out! They came, they ate, we talked untill 10pm. :th I finally got to bed about midnight...my old tired but was a draggin. After BIL and his family left...hubby and I were watching TV, when the power went out. We just started laughing. At least everyone was fed, and everything was cleaned. The woodstove was blazeing. It was only out for a few minutes tho. Thankfully, as I have chicks in a brooder outside and it was quickly dropping down into the 20's.
I hope you all had a WONDERFULL, uneventfull day. Oh, I think I hear PIE calling me!! catch ya's later!!!
