I guess it would depend. Because of its vitamin and mineral content I would guess yes unless you are getting enough nutrients already. Since most food you buy in the store is grown in depleted soils, the odds of you getting all the micronutrients you need are not good. In that case maca would still help.
I can get it in bulk at the hippy-infested health food store. If you can find a place like that you could just buy a little to start with and see how you do.
Just a quick side note...part of the boost effect I can actually feel on my scalp. Weird...I know, but I do feel it in and on my head!
That'll be my next adventure. Making yogurt and kefir. Since I'm utterly unmotivated about green things pretending to try to grow on my north facing patio.... It's still 40 this week. That's probably part of the lack of motivation. heh.
I have done yogurt many times with good success. I only had 1 fail where the yogurt didn't set but I just poured that in to a cream soup so it didn't go to waste
We should be able to get some grains. Do they have any at the hippy-infested place where you get milk?
