I am a flatland lover myself.

We went on vacation to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado a few years back and NEVER again. Mountains are beautiful ... from a distance, but give me a prairie every time! :thumbsup

Hey and send me some of that beautiful weather! It is so hot and humid here I am melting! :th

Hey darlin', sorry I missed your birthday! Happy Belated Birthday to you! I just had one myself...sounds like you and Aly and Ernie had a good time. Love the pics, we are contemplating getting some ducks soon. Can't stand the geese though. We saw a fish hatchery when we went on our honeymoon and the pics that we had look exactly like those! We couldn't believe all the fish....crazy!

Belated happy birthday from me, too!

I've just been zipping in here and no time to read everything. Dh has been on here lurking more than I have, so even if it looks like I'm logged in it's most likely him. One day he may participate; those occasional politically slanted threads are enticing, lol.

It is nice to see a church doing what it should be in this day and age. That is one thing I love most about our church as well. We have a food pantry, a clothes closet, we do school supplies giveaways and community dinners. If every church would be so active many of the "needs" for government handouts would disappear.

Glad your sisters are finally home. What a blessing.

That reminds me... someone posted about freezing plastic milk jugs of water and putting those out for the birds to help them cool down. The person that posted puts straw around them to help insulate so that they last longer. Looks like I need to go back out to the recycle bin to get those milk jugs after all.
