Hi keljonma!

What kind of bread are you baking?

I'm fixing up some corn bread for the chickerdoodles today. They love it when I bring them fresh baked corn bread!

Monroe's comb is finally starting to heal. It still looks just awful, but I think the healing process has finally took off. I think he might lose some tips and a small close to the back. I feel so badly for him.

Hi Keljonma!
It does look pretty today, doesn't it? I haven't been outside yet today, but I'll take your word for it on the 11 degrees, LOL!
It seems like an unusually dark winter this year. I remember many sunny Januarys.

I've got to head out to the garden sooner or later for leeks. I'm thinking leek potato soup sounds warm and greenish.

The alternating sunshine is nice huh??? My flock has been out all day. Of course they have a HUGE pen and we never look them in their coop so they are always free to come in and out so they enjoy every bit of the sunshine.
