:frow I am just learning how to knit… this is my first sweater (in progress), hand dyed by my kiddos!

I don't have a picture, but DD made a hat thing for her brother at Christmas that covered his ears with flaps and had a long piece in the back to cover his neck. It was perfect for his Alaskan adventure.

She now has a request for ten of them by April. Lol

Thanks @tortoise ! I will probably not make many sweaters for the kids because they take so long and kids grow so fast! My friend is a sheep farmer/fiber arts teacher and she’s teaching me everything, and suggested I start with a toddler sized sweater. I ripped it out and started over a few times but it’s going great now.

my favorite new obsession is spinning though

Wow! I am impressed! You have made beautiful yarn! Are you obsessed enough with spinning that you have extra yarn to sell?

I would love to know how to totally knit. I can do the middle parts but I can't start, end, or make a new line :hide
I just have basic knitting skills. I'm very slow to learn! Every time I cast off or graft I go to youtube and watch a tutorial in slow motion. I've been knitting for 30 years. 😅

Not yet, but maybe eventually! I can only spin after the littles are in bed. DS (who’s 2 now!) is a wild child🤣 and thank you, it took me a bit to get it down but I’m loving it now!
