i can only show what others have done. Mom knits every morning for a while. she makes scrubbies and washclothes. she used to make very thick blankets, rugs and scarfs but she's not done those for a while now.

Don't knit or crochet....but I sew clothing very well! And needlepoint, embroidery. Haven't done much of any of it for a couple years. Would like to sew more again, just don't need the clothes. So a wasted talent.....maybe I'll find a reason to do again. Need a purpose.

in the right side of this picture you can see hints of some things that Mom knitted, i think they were vests that she made out of scrap yarns that someone gave her.

I would love to know how to totally knit. I can do the middle parts but I can't start, end, or make a new line

Me either and my DD knits left handed which is hard to learn from. I might try again this winter.

I found 100% wool yarn at Joann yesterday. Rare to find yarn in a store that isnt plastic, so I bought some to "vote" for better yarn.

Now I need to make something with it. DS14 could use a new hat.

Whenever I find wool yarn at a thrift store or yard sale I grab it. I don't care what color it is, or how much there is. I'll find a use for it.
