I feel your pain about the rain/flood/rain/flood thing. I want it to stay cold enough for us to ski this coming weekend and then I am done with winter. The Wife gets her feet operated on in April. The 13th I think.
By then I will be taking care of 10 laying hen peeps, 35 meat birds, 3 dogs, an immobile and very cranky wife(she can't take any pain meds!) and my shop. :th :th

I would love to have Millie!! Unfortunately, I don't have a barn yet. I am still a little nervous about taking that leap. :hide The Hubster and I have discussed the merits of having goats but are fearful of going broke trying to care for them. I've researched hoop barns and we can get set up with a barn and fencing for around $1K but I have trouble parting with that kind of money!!

I too, am sick of all the rain. I have a garden that desperately wants attention and it's been too stinkin' wet to get out there. Ohio weather is crazy!!

Millie looks really sweet and an easy milker is such a blessing. :love Her color reminds me of good chocolate.

Hmmmmm . . . could you put a bunch of stamps on her and send her to me??? We would have to tell the landlord she's a dog. ;) We could put a cowboy hat on her to cover the horns. Oh yea, the udder- maybe a big t-shirt?

Seriously- Someone will be very lucky to get her. I don't care about pedigrees when an animal pays it's way. She would keep her family supplied with cheese.

Someone is probably going to have to lock me away. We are under a snow watch starting Thursday night. Just saw the forecast and they are predicting 6+ inches of snow between Thursday night and Friday. And we are talking heavy wet snow. I could just cry. :hit

And we're going to get more rain. I'd like for it to dry out for awhile. I can't even begin to imagine still getting a bunch of snow. The rain is bad enough.
