Quads- and all gorgeous! Don't know if you've thought of names yet.
I would call # 2 ZigZag after those geometric markings, and leave him a buck. Very flashy.
# 3 Looks like he will turn into a sweetheart, so maybe Romeo.
# 4 That mask makes him look like he's going to a masquerade party. He also seems like he will be a sweetie.
Will you be keeping or selling the doeling? She's pretty.
I don't know how people are supposed to decide which boys should be bred, or wethered, but # 2 and 3 both really appeal to me, to be future herdsires.
lol, im all for a bottle baby (assuming bottle raising goats isnt much different than bottle raising dogs, cats, hyena, lion, tiger, gibbon or orangutan babies )
im so serious, if i had my place already id be there in a heart beat to pick him up.
unfortunatly as it stands now though the town i live in in my parents house is "goat free" (even if you have 20 acres you cannot own a goat in this town...or pigs...)
im moving to TN next spring though! so put me on the list for a black and white blue eyed nigi buckling in 2012!!!
Thanks! Had another birth. This was Keturah's 145 day so not surprising. Keturah kidded quads but unfortunately, one of them was DOA. Of course it had to be the only female. I worked on her but it was obvious that she came out dead. She was fully formed and looked fine. Not sure what happened. She was even the 2nd one born. The other 3 were, of course, males. These boys are also out of Categorized. I'm very disappointed to say the least. I should be happy that the 3 boys appear to be healthy but out of 8 born today, 6 were males and one of the females didn't even make it. So I'm 7 males and 1 female today.
Here are a couple pictures of the 3 boys. Will get fluffy pics tomorrow.
Thanks! I can tell you that 4 is quite enough. Those poor moms popping out 4 goats. Keturah was very unexpected. She didn't look large enough to be carrying quads. Everyone is doing well.
SKR8PN - you may just find a couple of goats in your yard.
