When I went on a gluten free diet the first things I noticed were I had tons more energy and I never get depressed. But you have to do it 100%. I can always tell if I have eaten something accidentally because it takes so much effort to do anything ( no energy) and I am likely to feel depressed.

I had trouble even reading the article because the pictures on the site are so disgusting. Why?
Was it Richard Simmons that did you in, or the finger being chopped off? :p

HAHAHA!!!! I don't like the finger chop at all, it makes me sick to my stomach. And much as I can't wait to eat our pigs, I found the main picture a bit "Lord of the Flies!" Not manly at all, but a bit disturbed. IMO.

You're right.. I didn't see the connection to Lord of the Flies.. And what is that thing in his other hand..? A wand?

Edit: Oh. I guess it's a knife. I had to go back and look.. Oops!

MTN....I have a dear friend with RA and for the life of me I can not get her to change her diet! I bring her articles and talk to her about it, but to no avail. I think that she believes me, but the act of making such changes is overwhelming.

The fact that I can do it means that anyone can! It is not as hard as people think! I am happy to hear about your RA! Way to go :clap

For me, it was all by accident. I needed to lose a few pounds. Little did I know!!!!!! maybe she just needs to take baby steps. My sis is the same way. although she is not in pain at present, she has had it so bad where she needed to be in a wheelchair. Although she is always polite about it, she ultimately thinks that I am from a different planet regarding my views on food's healing power. She's a typical low fat, exercise till you drop kinda gal. I don't see her much, or talk to her much., or I might have a bit more influence on her.

Yes, his site comes off as a bit....weird, LOL! However, what he writes is very sound, and well worth it.

Here is his Ebook link, and it has no pics ;)

Those that tag along and follow his principles, regardless of issues, recover and heal fully.
I know I am healing faster and better then when I did full WAPF style.

This happened with me, although it took a while. I first noticed weight loss. Then my canker sores went away! Now when I get contaminated, I get canker sores. It sucks-especially since I have dealt with them my whole life and it is so awesome to be able to talk without pain! I am SO glad my energy levels are back up where they should be!

My hormones have made a comeback as well. I am pretty sure that the birth of my second child enhanced all of my symptoms. (I am sure I have Celiac-Sprue) I had tons of energy with my first son, house always clean, dinner made...my second came around-I laid around, couldn't sleep, couldn't wake up. No sex drive...irregular periods (spotting in between).

My ND said that the spotting was from anovulatory cycles-no ovulation, but still shedding. I went on Natural Progesterone, and things got better with my cycles and my sex drive, but not too much else.

Then, after noticing my son's eczema, I started the elimination diet with him, found out that Gluten was the cause of his eczema. Then, I started reading about Celiac, and that it is hereditary...well, I had quite a few symptoms, so I made our whole house is gluten free, except for a few items my husband still chooses to have-which is kept away from the kids.

I get contaminated whenever we go to my in-love's though. It is very frustrating, since we go there every weekend. I just have to remember to make our food and bring it up there. She tries to make things G-free, but she doesn't quite get the contamination part yet. If she cuts an onion where a piece of regular bread was without washing it GOOD...It will make me contaminated.

I hope you find a doctor that will work with you. I would suggest a Naturopathic Doctor, since most MDs are treating symptoms, not causes.

No, I have not but I have tried other herbs from this company. 'I' would like to try one of the other herbs. When I say 'I' I mean I want to ummmm....slip a couple drops in DH's drink and see if it works! If I do it on the sly then I will know if it is mental or physical. I know mental has a huge effect but I wonder what the effect of the herbs on their own have. (For the record DH does not need any help! He just needs and attitude adjustment! :he )
