not much new here. went to dh's 4th of july thing with him. it was a potluck so i made baked beans and cucumbers and onions. none left of either. then they did fireworks it was an hour show. got home and soaked up the ac.

my youngest decided that she was ready for a new dog but it had to be a fluffy one like she had (her ****z-sue was purposly hit by the kids down the road a year ago) so we went to look at a litter of ****z-zue pups, and ended up bringing home the mama dog. she is super glued to my dd. she needs a haircut badly. so she gets to go friday for that.

garden is still doing good.

lost a rabbit to the heat yesterday. but on a good note the standard rex doe had babies today.

got a sale this weekend. going to take some rabbits that have earned their 3rd strike. one doe i never did get babies out of, and another that would have 1 or2 babies and kill them. plus a couple others. going to look for some more ducks, and a nice new zeland buck. never know what they will have up there. it is mostly animals. so i am going to see what kinds of stuff i can find to take up there.

well almost time to go water the garden...

Sticy buns are gone... and you would have to fight dd for the pup. And she is mean- so good luck! Hehe.

I am trying to get dh to have his stupid bulldog fixed. Becouse noe he is talking about having bull-****z puppies. He just wants to see that ad in the paper.

Ummmmm..........kinda. that is why there are no fish in the ponds on the farm!

I remember family members"giving them a call" a few times also. But you don't use an alunamum boat for that.

Most of my family is crazy. My family has a farm in missouri and we are gearing up for the 4th this weekend. Drinking, and explsives! And my uncles home made cannon. Let me see if I can find some picks from last year to confirm...

go for it~! 4th parties are FUN! my friend down the road has a potatoe cannon (we call it) on their horse farm. WOW we go nuts and have a blast before the cops come! HAHA

the boom the homemade cannons make is great! rattles your teeth LOL

We had a potatoe cannon for a few years.

And yes the cannon, when it goes off- it rattles your teeth and you can feel the concushon in your chest. But then again for the size he built it calls for about 1/4 cup of black powder. Well.......if 1/4 cup is good then 1 cup would be better! We "don't" have 1/2 sticks of dinamite also. We have a large teepee fire that is @ 30+ feet tall. And we put firecrackers on it. 500,000 last year in honer of my dad (the 4th of july was his birthday). You have to wear ear plugs when they light it.

my uncle with his helmit that my dad and i made him. he used to wear a galvinised bucket and run back and forth and have the kids shoot bottle rockets at him.so we thought this looked better. plus it gave ma a shot at his ear!
