We have 2 new kittens. My daughter was at a naighbors house and they had found their cat in the pasture looked like a coyote had killed her and 3 of her kittens. But there were 2 kittens left. They are about 2-3 weeks old and sence our mama was still nursing her kittens we gave them to her with a little vannilla on her nose. She started feeding them right away.

It is hot today 92 right now. Yuck.

We might go camping this weekend.

They didn't realy say. But they didn't ask us in the house and I could hear several small dogs going crazy in there. I thought he might be agressive toward little dogs but he is fine with mine. He LOVES the puppies gives them kisses with that huge tonge of his. Still terified of mama when she catches him with them. Took him in the chicken coop and he ignored them, took him in the goat pen and he ignored them till bandit tried to see if he was a mama. OMG! The look on his face was priceless!! He has a very expressive face. He sleeps on the bed with me. And he already knows "wanna go to bed?" The only thing so far is when the mama cat (who doesn't like dogs) hissed and scratched him he tried to bite her so I keep hold of him when we go outside. And he wants to chase the kittens if the run. So we are working on that. He LOVES people. Hassent met a stranger yet. But people are afrade of him.

planting that i have done
4137_20120620094236.jpg

i got in:
20 tomatoes
4 hot peppers
4 bell beppers
1 long row of green beans
1/2 row dill
1/2 row sage
2 rows cucumbers
and dh had to plant 2 rows of radishes lol
and a row on the end of flowers... the kids gave me @20 flower seed packets so i mixed them all in a cup and sprinkled them in mixed in a row.

in a week or 2 i will plant pumpkins

the garden is 15-20 ft wide X 50 ft long.
next year it will be at least 30-40 X 60-70
planted the green beans long ways and everything else on the short.
next year it will be at least twice as big. i have to keep mowing and tilling. i figure i will have enuff mowed and tilled to have room for a fall garden. peas, radishes, lettice, and stuff

Well the birds snipped off 2 of my hot peppers and 1 tomatoe. And I cought the dog diggging a hole in my row of green beans. She got a good spray with the hose so noe she just lays and looks at me when I go back to the garden.

I wormed the goats yesterday. And gave the puppies their shots, and wormed them. Be time for them to go soon.

Well the heat finaly is hitting us here. 102 yesterday. Yuck. Been watering the garden at dusk. It is doing well for as late as I got it in.

Haven't been feeling well. Just kinda blucky.

Looking at getting some pedigreed rabbits. There is a lady @ 40 miles north of us that has the pedigreed rabbits and she is getting $25 - $50 each for hers. (She sold 28 last weekend). And they are not show rabbits. I have a guy in nebraska that is willing to meet us in missouri at a show and give my daughter and I a lesson in showing and he is helping my out by selling me some mini rex at about 1/2 price. To get us started. Some of the rabbits I can choose from have already won several shows. So we might give it a go. If it works out with these, I might get some mini lops also.

Well better go recheck the critters before it gets too hot. The temp has gone up 5 degrees in the last half hour. I also need to make sure the water bottles are frozen for the rabbits.
