You went to Walmart?? Brave one indeed. I can't bring myself to go to any of the stores today, I can't stand crowds and lines at checkout. I didn't used to be that way. Your so right though I watched the news this morning and people were very rude, It's the Christmas season and it brings out the ugly in some folks. Peace on Earth???? Not at the Big Box stores!

Only store I went into was TSC. No crowds at all. I picked up something my MIL wanted to buy as a gift and a 10' gate.

Oh no.... Chicken soup, hot tea (maybe a toddy), lots of fluids and rest. That would be a fantasy in my house, lol! Hope you feel better soon.

Put some honey on that, and if you need to, cover it w/gauze. It should heal up w/that.

Ouch! Poor DD!

My DH knows how inept I am, so he gave me a pair of welding gloves to load the stove with. I have thanked him several times already for saving me some bad burns!

her hand is feeling better today and dont see any sign of infection.

i had a call from my horseshoer down the road-he is a good friend of ours. and he is the one who bought my donkey "jimmy". he said someone he has never seen before stoped and was asking about my big donkey and that they came by here and no one was home. he said he was wanting to buy him, and that he noticed that he was gone. well this seems odd becouse i havent had any ads up for him for a couple months. i havent had anyone call or given anyone directions to get here. and i havent told anyone who bought him. so how did they know to go to his house? i told him this seems "off" and that it doesnt feel right to me. i have been here all day yesterday and today, and the dogs havent even barked- if a car even goes by slow the dogs go nuts. so i WOULD have known if someone stoped. i hate this feeling. and yes, i just got done checking that my guns are loaded.
