Yah...I hear ya about the turkeys. They aren't the prettyest animals in the world. Always wondered who looked at a turkey and said- man look at that thing, I bet it would be good to eat! But I do like their personality. They have gotten to where when I go out to feed they talk to me. I still don't know if they are males or females though.

Maybe they looked at it and said, man that thing is so ugly about all it's probably good for is to eat it.

I had turkeys for the first time this year and was amazed at how they follow everything. If it moves they would follow it. My cat was not amused because she would go around the yard and be followed by 8 very large turkeys lol. It was funny to watch. They were ugly though but they do taste very good mmmm.

Poor cat but :yuckyuck . Our guineas are like that with our cat...she can't go anywhere, if they're out ranging, without them following her and sounding the alarm. The wildbirds appreciate their warning, though.

So glad to have you back home with us, ff6! I've missed ya! :hugs

There was a cat in my field the other day when I had my young girls out. They were very interested in her to the point that she finally got up and left. I think they freaked her out!

If I were a smaller animal, guineas would freak me out too! Lol they are fine if he is outside, but they don't want him inside the coop!

got another new addition today. *sigh* my dd#1 works at a fast food place and when she took the trash out there was a tiny calico kitten. i am guessing her to be @4-5 weeks old. she has yucky eyes, so i got some teramiacin eye ointment. and she doesnt want to eat hard food. she likes chicken and boiled rice, and cream. she is skinny. we will see how she does over the weekend.
