I see a small business venture here....except those who would want the shirt would make their own rather than buy one! :p

I can't really take credit for that, I got it from my daughter. She used to say Girls rule, Boys drool.

I think all 4th graders say that. :p

Well that pig of mine stinks to high heaven, poops (big stinky :sick poops) where he eats and also where everyone else eats, gets into everything, is an escape artist and a yard ruiner...and those are just his good qualities. So fairy dust it aint, more like troll goo.

I'm thinking he may go to freezer camp early. :D
I can help you with that little problem. Simply PM me your address and I will ship you a generous gift card to the restaurant of your choice. When you return from dinner, your problem will be gone.
:D :D :D
He's always so helpful and sweet, you know? :)

but oh the bacon.. hang in there! it will be worth it!

QA - just find a way to feed them so you dont have to get in there with them.

everyone repeat after me:

i hate pigs
pigs are not dogs
pigs are not cute
no one loves them - except as bacon
electric fencing is a pig raisers best friend

Actually...I had a wonderful pig when I was growing up.... :hide Her name was Jessica and she was a sweety! She loved to be scratched and I would sit in the middle of her pen and rub her belly for her.

Sometimes she would get out of her pen but she would go no further than the large patch of clover around her pen, which she would graze upon and lay in...eyes closed blissfully in the spring sunshine. She was a dollbaby! :love

When they came to take her away, I was at school. My mom told me that she got away from them and wouldn't go on the truck...she just wanted to keep going back to her safe ol' pen. I cried when she told me about it.....poor Jessica was like Ferdinand the Bull~she just wanted to lie in the clover and smeeeeeellll the flowers.

I really liked that pig! :hit

I don't recall eating Jessica....too long ago, but I'm sure I didn't enjoy it. She was a great pig. The others we had were just pigs, nothing less nothing more. I think they get more human characteristics when they don't have other pigs with which to bond. They depend on you more for attention and affection when they are lonely.

Jessica had a litter mate that died of pneumonia shortly after we brought them home. She and I were both lonely youngsters, so it was natural that we would bond.

This is why I hate to have a single animal on my place...two by two or more is my motto. That is why Two Bites had to go....too sad to let her live alone and the sheep just didn't suffice as cow folk.

*off topic*

I love the story of Ferdinand the Bull! I used to read it over and over and over when I was a kid.
I'm gonna hafta go find a copy for my kiddos!

*on topic*

ofg, right now, they are in a temp kennel set up, until all this yuck melts...so there's not really away I can feed them without going in...unless I can shovel slops in through a straw....not until we get Hillbilly Hog Heaven built inside Cow Pie Pasture.

eta: they really aren't that bad yet. They just really like to eat.......

This was Abigail...
she was a lovely pig, clean & tidy, easy going, not pushy or demanding... and quite tasty lol I wish we had kept her for breeding stock - her get would probably have been easy to handle as well. We will go back to her breeder when we are ready for our next.

Aww, that is a cute pig!

Boy pigs drool
Girl pigs rule!

I'm glad my porker is a boy, I am NOT going to feel guilty when he is in my freezer.

SKR8PN, if you lived closer, I would gladly give you this hog. It seems you have the proper equipment to do it justice. :D
