Ha-ha Modern_Pioneer ;)

Well today has reached new levels of SUCK lol My barn well is frozen SOLID. There was water in the tank, so all the pipes from the tank must be fine as I drained the tank but then the water flow stopped. Something is frozen but no matter what I do, I can't get it to unfreeze :( So now I have to take buckets down from the house for Mylie AND Luna. I need to get this barn well unfrozen but we've been down there for 2 hours now and nothing has worked. I'm going to try again tomorrow, and hope that I can get it unfrozen before tomorrow evening because the more I use the house well for the horses, the more likely we are to run dry. I may have to go into the village and fill up some big water jugs (the kind that go on a water cooler) from the spring there and bring it home.

I know two people who are going to York and they don't really like it there. That's a tough position to be in, as if they can just do that and not let you know. I have no idea what I would do. What do you want to go to school for??

English lol... I accepted the offer anyway, I fully intend on transfering schools to U of T after a term or year or whatever. I have a couple friends who go there and love it. I won't be living on campus, the problem with campus living at York is that the location SUCKS. My dad lives on Danforth so I'm a short TTC ride from downtown.

lol I have two very unhappy goats right now. I gave them their CD/T boosters today and they are ANGRY.

Just wait until they find out they're getting wormed in a week too ;)

It's freezing out here, -12* celcius right now but we're supposed to get a windchill of something like -25* celcius.

It was so cold out yesterday that we froze our butts off putting out Luna's new roundbale, and even then we couldn't get it all the way up the field because she was so excited she kept cantering around and then slamming on the brakes 2 feet from us LOL now Luna has bad hocks and bad feet so you can imagine how terrifying a badly put together pony slamming on the brakes 2 feet from you is. So now I'm slowly moving her bale up the field to her feeding area lol.

Oh and some photos of the airing cupboard doors we made for upstairs. We have a lot of storage for an old house, we have storage under the eaves to the right side of this photo and where those doors are we have an airing cupboard. All the bedrooms even have large closets!

The hinges on the airing cupboard doors are hand hammered hinges that are supposed to look like strap hinges from the 1840s.

And our upstairs bathroom is almost finished. There are just a few things like a tiled backsplash for the sink and a stained glass window for the window between my room and the bathroom..

And Mylie's first saddle pad! I bought this a few weeks ago. Her colours are going to be turquoise so I'm starting to collect things for May when Daina comes out to restart her and get her going well under saddle and on the ground. She just needs turquoise polo wraps and her tack now! and depending on how she's grown when May comes around, either a back or wither lift. Not sure yet lol.

Last night Peaches gave birth to 5! very cute Miniature Labradoodle babies :D 3 boys and 2 girls! We had some issues with a wormer and our vet so we won't be preselling this year, but instead waiting until after their first vet check to start advertising them. But they're here! Quesa ended up being pregnant in the end so we're just waiting for her to give birth.

Alsoooo, our well is now unfrozen! the well guy came and apparently it was frozen for 2 feet outside the barn because of the rain/freezing. He unfroze the well so now we have water! No more walking from the house to do Mylie's water! I only have to take 1 bucket from the house every day for Luna! Woooohooo!
