We've been eating our burgers bun-free for a while now. I smother mine in cheese (as many kinds as I want!! Bleu=mmmmm) onions, tomatoes if I have them, lettuce, bacon, avocado, pickles, HFCS free catsup, mustard, BBQ sauce, whatever I'm in the mood for. Then I eat 'em with fork and knife! Yeah, sometimes I miss the bun, but I try to remember the belly ache that bun would give me.....

Heck, i dont miss buns with all the bacon, avocado, and bleu cheese on the burger...

Jamie et al... it is that friggin entitlement bull poop. Lol. It keeps getting worse because it is so reinforced. I told my dad I was born in the wrong century. I dont like being "given" achievements or awards. I want to do something.

Hey! I just got my nook to offer more special characters and i dunno what i did...

oooo! what fun!!

THANKS! (sarcasm) I have NO ground beef thawed. However, I do have some ground beef I cooked up to add to Hubby's pasketti so maybe ... just maybe ...

Had my cooked ground beef. Heated it with provolone and swiss cheese on it. Added a bit of mayo and ketchup.

Eh.

Not great but kinda filling.

When I go to the grocery tomorrow, gonna get some bacon, avocado, soy-free mayo, and lots of other delicious things for bunless burgers. Oooh, next time I'm adding butter! (The real stuff.)

Didn't have any portabello ... maybe get some mushrooms tomorrow too.

Out of chicken feed. Guess I need to make some chicken pancakes tonight for tomorrow's "breakfast". Flour, millet, flax, egg (with shell), parmesan, garlic and a bit of baking powder.

I'm just thinking here ...

Woke up this morning to find the S&P's USA credit rating has changed from AAA to AA+, and people across the world are panicking, as shown by the stock market. Soon to be reflected in interest rates and gas prices.

Does it effect me?

In a way. I was planning on ordering some propane to help get us through winter, but maybe I should wait another day or two to see if prices dip even more? And the mortgage interest rates had fallen below what we're paying so should we take advantage of them and refinance?

Not that any of it will make much of a difference in my life right now, as it stands.

Certainly bears watching.

In other news ... was supposed to be a busy weekend. Had a huge list of things to do, but I had a headache and didn't feel like "cracking the whip" so basically, things didn't get done. The bathroom didn't even get cleaned! Huh? Yeah, for some reason, one of the few chores Hubby has, only gets done about once or twice a year. I tell ya .. it's disgusting. In our 5/4 house, me and the Kid clean most of it, and I ask Hubby to only clean our master bathroom and pick up after himself. Maybe cook once in a while. Does he? But he sure as hell can yell at the kid if HE doesn't get one or two chores done.

Getting more and more frustrated. He's got some great traits and can really be caring but he's SO jealous of my son (only been married 4 years) and still acts like a child himself. Wants to sleep till noon. Wants ME to tell him what to do. Expects his laundry to be done. Magically. So many things and I've written about them before. But here I am, trying to keep things together, pay the bills, arrange my kid's therapy and doc appointments, train the service puppy, milk the goats, tend the chickens and goats, keep the garden alive and hope it bears, deal with my own health issues including a leg that doesn't work normally any more ... and I'm just tired. Exhausted.

Conversations don't help. Any time I bring anything up, it turns into a full blown argument about everything I've ever done wrong. CAn't keep on track for the one topic. Then the Kid starts hurting himself, and we have to redirect the arguing into keeping him safe.

Stay?

Or go?

Just thinking about it.

I don't expect input from you ... there's so much backstory and I can feel a migraine forming. Just can't think these days. I'll stay on a bit longer and read the posts I missed over the misspent weekend. By then it'll be time to get my son up for his morning seizure meds, then feed the livestock. Then maybe I'll work on the fundraising cookbook, or maybe I'll take a nap.

Ugh. So sorry about how things are going. You have so much on your plate, you deserve a real Partner- not another child. :(
